Improv Jones & Friends, New England’s longest-running improv comedy act, is back at Borealis Coffee Company! Join us on Saturday, October 4th, 2025, at 7:30 PM for a night of laughter and fun. IJ will perform their hilarious improvised formats that earned them the prestigious “Best Improv Comedy” award at the 2024 Motif Spoken Awards! Every show is different. Every show is fun!
This months guest is the return of stand-up comedian, Alan Sousa. Alan is a native Bristolian and stand up comic/ improviser. Alan has been performing in New England for over a decade and is pumped to be back on the Jones stage. We are excited what he brings this time around!!
Doors open at 6:30 PM, and the show starts at 7:30PM

About Improv Jones
Improv Jones began as a workshop at Second Story Theatre back in 1992, when it was on the East Side of Providence. When Second Story folded we set out on our own, and took the name Improv Jones. Since then, we've worked to bring the finest performers in the area together for a consistently high-quality improv show. We've had over three dozen members, many of whom have gone on to success in New York, Chicago, L.A., and places in between. Improv Jones has collaborated with numerous improv troupes, several rock bands, and one dance troupe, produced two plays, helped create the Providence Improv Fest, and performed all over Southern New England and beyond.
